Our family owned business has been in operation for over twenty years.

Earl Scott is a plaster by trade, with over twenty seven years of experience. He began as a tender working in the Fort Myers area. In the 1980s, economics offered Mr. Scott an opportunity to work in Disney World’s Epcot Center. Under the instruction of an art director, he gained knowledge and experience in the many aspects of plastering. He returned to the Fort Myers area, and continued working for various plastering and stucco companies.
In 1990, Mr. Scott began doing business in new construction as Southern Wall Finishes. This type of construction presented a need for licensing in drywall and metal framing. These services were added in 1993. With all licensing in place, we contracted everything from small additions to multifamily condominiums. By applying banding, textures, and custom details we have fashioned many older style homes into virtually new images.

Pursuing his passion for artistic plastering, in 2003 Southern Wall Finishes obtained certification in ArcusStone architectural stone and plastering products. ArcusStone can be used to create stunning, natural looking cut stone or antique plaster surfaces over drywall, concrete, or stucco.
